I have four minutes to kill and I thought I’d write a quick post:
Work is good, slower now but working to keep busy on lots of projects. ATHF movie is awesome, a must see if you like the show. Be warned though that it can be a bit much at times when you expand a 15 minute format to 90. This weekend Josh and I are going to see Tom and Alissa get married, it should be fun. I love any excuse to wear a new dress and eat good food, especially free good food. Nothing else too exciting is going on, I hope to do a little shopping this weekend and hopefully get to spend some quality time with the parents before they go to Denton for the arrival of the new grandson. I’m going to try to be better with taking along the digital camera and posting pictures of interesting things, as I realize that looking at things is much better than my nonsensical writings about things. I’m very happy it’s Friday, lots to do tonight before leaving for the wedding tomorrow, most importantly is to clean up my house and pack. I think there’s talk of a trip to the mall tonight, and I’m not one to pass up a trip to the mall. Josh was really sweet last night and brought me a milk shake for dessert. We watched Columbo and I fell asleep with my head on his shoulder. Isn’t that just a little too cute for words? You can go ahead and roll your eyes. now.
Time’s up, that’s it for me! Will post more later, perhaps a whole 10 minutes worth of carefully crafted prose. Perhaps even in iambic pentameter.

There have been a few upgrades lately. On the site you will notice a new calendar feature so I can keep track of what’s going on when. These next few weeks are really busy with lots of different functions going on. I think it will be July before things start to slow down. Anyway, if there’s anything going on in your life that I should add to my calendar just leave me a comment or send an email.
The other upgrade is that tax season is finally over and I am actually back to being a sane human being again. From my best calculations, I will have about 30ish vacation days coming to me this year and really no reason to use that many. I mean, I’d like to think that I’ll get to sit out sunny beach for two weeks at some point, but with my current cash flow that is highly unlikely. To celebrate the end of tax season I spent Wednesday getting my hair done, getting a massage and assembling a nice celebratory dinner for Josh. I will say assembling, because with Central Market doing such a darn good job at making stuff, basically I can heat things up and call it a day. They do really nice little desserts. You can get little one person cakes and desserts which eliminates the problem of having to eat the entire rest of a pan of brownies yourself. Not that I would ever do that…again…this month.
This weekend we got a group together to see the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely random and hilarious. It was a bit strange seeing a 15 minute format TV show stretched out to a 90 minute format, but the movie was entertaining throughout. I can only imagine what someone who has never watched the show before would think if they wandered randomly into the theatre. After the movie we went to Cain’s to feel old and make fun of entire groups of guys wearing the exact same outfits. Ridiculous.
Today I was a total schlub. I stayed in bed all morning watching cooking shows (my guilty pleasure) then mustered up the energy to go grocery shopping…and followed that up with a good nap. I did clean my apartment this evening, as I’ve been neglecting that lately. I really need to go through and start throwing away all the extra crap I’ve accumulated in the last two years. I have so much stuff that I never use and just keep around that some of it really needs to go. This apartment is too small to keep extra stuff around, and I’ll just have to pack it up in a box and move it, so what’s the point of that?
This week at work will be pretty busy I think. We have to finish up first quarter bookkeeping, but that will be the end of our busy season for a while. That means Larry will be giving us all our lists of things to do to keep busy. First on my list will be marketing, glorious marketing…lots of envelopes…how fun. At least I have my normal 8-5 day back, and can actually go to yoga after work and get home before 8. I could not keep up that pace all year long…it’s too hard. This weekend Josh and I will go to Katy for Tom and Alissa’s wedding. I think it will be really fun, we picked out their present on Saturday, and from what I hear it will be a really nice wedding…although all weddings are nice. Anyway, that’s my life as of right now, I promise the complaining about work will dramatically subside as I will be less tired and less stressed. Happy Sunday Night!
